Connection Group 06.06.2021

Know God, make friends, find support for your life.

The basis of all we are doing is the love of God manifested through the death of Jesus Christ for our sins and His resurrection to give us eternal life.

Suggestions. Take time to greet each other and to meet any new people. Share coffee and dessert while you are having the “lesson.”

Part 1. Sunday’s message was based on Haggai 1:2-6, and it addressed the following points.

  1. The more we disconnect from church, the more blessings we miss in our lives.
  2. It is time to rebuild God’s church — services, preaching, teaching, evangelism, prayer, worship, outreach, and home groups

Part 2. Read the following questions. After reading them, allow the participants who wish to respond to answer the questions they wish to answer in the order they wish to answer them.

In what way is the was this Sunday’s message relevant to the people of God and to the follower of Christ? What relevance does this message have for your life, your relationship with God, and your service to God?

Part 3. Read the following questions. After reading them, allow the participants who wish to respond to answer the questions they wish to answer in the order they wish to answer them. The rest can respond to the participants or pray for them as the Spirit of Christ* guides them. (*In other words, their responses mus be compatible with the doctrine of Christ)

The Bible says that God is our Refuge and our Fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that He will deliver us from the deadly pestilence (Peslam 91:3).

  • How has God been your refuge and your fortress throughout your life?
  • How has God been your refuge and yhour fortress throughout this pandemic?
  • How can we continue to make of God our Refuge and our Fortress as we return to church after/during the pandemic?

Part 4.

What challenges or difficulties are you facing in your life? ¿How is this situation getting worse or better? What do you believe God expects of you through this situation? What do you need from God?

Parte 5. Take turns to pray for the ministry of the church and the needs of its members as the Holy Spirit leads you.

  • ¿What does the ministry of our church need?
  • What needs are the members in our church experiencing?
  • What does our church need (or seek) from God?
